I visited this restaurant several times when I first moved to Brighton, during the summer, you can enjoy the sunshine whilst eating some delicious fish. The waiters are very friendly and the food is consistently good and better value than in the lanes. I recommend the Dover Sole for £18.50. The Chablis is very good too!

check out my travels, then you will read that i have tried the best of the best, (ocassionally) the worst restaurants. Brilliant quality food, great service. Unpretentious quality at its best. Fantastic Value.

We have visited this restaurant before and came back to find it continues to be relaxed and welcoming. I really like the old fashioned feel of this place but the food is definitely bang upto date.

We only use this restaurant in Brighton for fish and chips great portions at a reasonable price. The other dishes look great as well but we have not got past the cod and chips.

Quaint seafood restaurant serving lovely seafood, beautifully cooked. Desserts on display to tempt you and they are lovely too! Not very busy during our visit and can only think this is because it was a cold night and there's no central heating. Big room with high ceiling and only fan heaters so it could have been warmer! Would return for... More

We chose this friendly family restaurant over its equally famous neighbour because it looked more comfortable. Reviews on this site suggested that both were equally good and of a high standard. The staff were welcoming and helpful but sadly the food was only average. I had a seafood sampler with several types of fish and some calamari with salad. The... More

On a cold wet Tuesday on our way to a gig at the Brighton Centre ,we happened upon this lovely place. It was very quiet when we first arrived , but were immediately made to feel welcome. The fish menu was very reasonable value and quality was excellent. While we were there it filled up and it was obvious that... More

I wasn't aware of this restaurant, even though I have lived in the area for 10 years. It was really good fresh fish - the fish and chips from the menu was great, and really huge portions. I have been back again since!

I had a dinner of 7-8 super king prawns with well cooked chips, plus a G and T in this silver service restaurant (which is situated right next door to the Regency rest) for an amazing £20 including service! Super presentation, with wet wipes, discard plate for shells and amazing friendly service all included!

A warm reception, just-right service and a delightful meal. Was there with my son, a demanding diner. Prawns and scallops starters were great. Soft succulent and tasty. Main courses were the fried fish platter and muscle pasta. Both very enjoyable, filling, light and fresh. No ifs, no butts, great dining.
