Because I tend not to eat that often in traditional English restaurants, I often forget just how brilliant the food, wine, and service can be. English’s is a faultless fine dining experience, without pretension or fuss, made even better by this being a rare occasion...More

The food was okay. It's not as it used to be. Stressy staff made our evening unrelaxing. I did find some sort of grit in a clam but otherwise the food was average.More

We couldn't resist oysters.....nice and fresh. The staff know their seafood. Wine list is fantastic...best I've seen in Brighton. Fish dish was beautifully cooked and not drowning in sauce. Will visit again next time I am in Brighton.
