Ate here pre concert as we had a groupon voucher had we not I would have been disappointed had I paid full price. Although it was early evening the staff were busy doing Im not sure what, we had to keep asking for them to come over and were never asked if the food was OK.

While staying at the Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel, me and my guest decided to enjoy a two course meal within the hotel restaurant. The restaurant is situated within a few minutes from Brighton beach and is open for lunch and dinner. Soaking up the atmosphere within the elegant styled brassiere and the evening views of Brighton beach, there is a... More

Same food (from same supplier) as Wetherspoons but more than twice the price. Not a menu for an evening meal - more suitable for lunch.

We had a special offer so we thought we give this place a try. Unfortunately the food was just ok but over priced with a limited selection, the service wasn't great & the decor was not inspiring. We wouldn't go back again.

We dined there on a one night hotel break (the hotel was fine, by the way) and since our stay included a two course meal in the Brasserie, we obviously took advantage. We were placed next to a radiator, with the ambient temperature in the restaurant already around 24 degrees, at a guess! We edged our table away from the... More

Cold overcooked food. This was dinner for 50 served at snails pace. We had chicken breasts that were cold and rock hard and for dessert Panna Cotta with the consistency of custard. Yuk! Slow service. Go elsewhere.

We sat down and ordered drinks in the bar at 8.30pm, we ordered our food 5-10 minutes later; 2 burgers with ‘chunky chips’. Over half an hour after placing our order, the male bar staff member came over and explained that they could only do one beef burger. I didn’t see this as much of a problem, I asked if... More

Main courses of steaks, pizza & linguine all very good, followed by chocolate torte, sticky toffee pudding & a mixed bowl of ice cream. All very good with the exception of the banana ice cream! Service very good.
