We were greeted warmly by the two serving staff who were working in the restaurant part of the pub. All the food and drinks were brought with a smile, which always makes a big difference. The food came a decent time after ordering and was of a good standard and very tasty. I particularly enjoyed the white chocolate cheesecake which... More

We arrived 4pm easter Sunday for a advertised Bbq Sunday roast. We order beef and chicken meals. We got one slice of beef and a chicken thigh with 3 new potatoes and a large bowl of grilled onions, courgette and Parsnip chips. Well you could imagine we were still hungry after. Quality was good but selection and quantity for £10... More

We've eaten here over the years with various managers and chefs. The Crows Nest now has it right! Great choices, well presented and truly tasty food, good service too and the price was very reasonable.

We arrived on a busy Friday evening without a booking and despite the imminent arrival of a large party, they very kindly accommodated us in the bar area. The staff were lovely and the service was prompt. The menu was standard pub fare but the quality of it was really good. Recommend the burger and the ham and eggs. As... More

Good pub but people sitting at the bar should be told to leave room for other customers to buy drinks

Booked in for 8 on a Friday night...very accommodating.....service excellent and food very tasty. Portions a good size and service staff very attentive. The bar seemed busy so that always bodes well for a local... Just around the corner from a rental property so location was great for us too....would definitely return.

My wife and I were on a break in Swanage, we went for a walk and decided to have a drink at this pub where we were met by the manager, who made us feel welcome straight away. As a regular pub user I could see that this manager was running a good place. The pub was busy with locals... More

We were staying in a nearby B&B and thought we would give it a try as we could get there by walking. On arrival, the bar was busy and we were shown to our table in the restaurant side which we found very stark with no atmosphere at all. Our opinion is that the owners are not sure if they... More
