They were a bit understaffed but the food was really wonderful, absolutely fantastic for gluten and dairy free too.

Had their boeuf bourguignon with mashed potatoes and green beans from the specials menu today - it was delicious, very tasty and piping hot. And only £12.95. Highly recommend. It was very busy so service a little slow, but well worth waiting for. A great...More

Not really on the menu but as it was not too busy we both had two fried eggs and fries. Absolutely great and nice and hot. Hit the spot! If plaice is on the menu it is a must have experience.

We were visiting family in Dorchester and they took us to Taste for an early morning 'tasting'. We had some tea, brownies, cappuccino's, banana milkshakes and Cream Teas. The waitress, Beth (or Bethany?), was most pleasant and super friendly! She was very helpful and introduced...More

In contrast to the last reviewer, my experience was that the staff were all excellent! Friendly, acknowledged us immediately, couldn’t do enough for us and they were full of customers, so very busy. Water brought to table, good tasty food, nice atmosphere, reasonably priced for...More
