I have lived in Bournemouth for 24 years now. Originally born and bred brummie we love our curries. I have been to a lot of resteraunts in and around Bournemouth and Poole. I have a few favourites....but Dilli Haat is by far my first choice....Being Indian myself this is the only place I have found that reminds me of my mother's home cooked food. The lamb is soooo tender....chicken cooked to perfection. The Veg dishes spot on. Highly recommend this place. Cannot wait to book a table once we are allowed.More

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The owners are the sweetest people and the food is amazing. We always get our Indian food from them and it's so tasty every single time. It's always ready for when we come to pick it up.

Tonight, myself and my partner were craving an Indian. We ordered the meal plan for 2. In it, it provided us with 2 starters, 2 mains, rice and nan. I specifically asked for extra mango chutney, both for the papdams and just for a dipping...sauce. When we received our order, we didn't receive ANY mango chutney. For one of the sides that we ordered, we had a choice of spiced potatoes or else a spinach side and we ordered the spinach side but when we arrived home, we notice that we actually receive the potatoes which we absolutely did not want. These two errors really annoyed us for some reason. Two errors that could have been mitigated had the man who took our order listened. Our chicken tikka massala had barely any chicken pieces in it, maybe 4 bite-sized chunks of chicken which definitely did not add up to one breast. It was the same for my partners chicken tikka masala dish.More
