A small tea room/café doing delicious home made food. Our waitress was really helpful and friendly even though we were late in the afternoon.

Straight forward ham, eggs and chips for Sunday lunch. All excellent and two huge slabs of very good quality ham. superb service from the waitresses and a top notch hot chocolate. No cheap eats and not a wide variety of hot meals. The cake selection looked wonderful, although we didn't partake. We had bread and butter with the meals and... More

Called in here yesterday at tea time and were persuaded to order a cream tea. We decided to order just one and share it, however when it arrived we were given only one scone together with jam and cream.( I was under the impression that it normally consists of two!) We ordered another one and on asking for the extra... More

Nice tea, fabulous cakes and little one was very well looked after by the waitress. We've often walked past and gone elsewhere, I wish we'd come here sooner!

Yummy cakes displayed in the olde worlde style window of the tea room. Delicious, apetising cooking smells inside. Bread roll with the leek + potato soup was really lovely. Hard to decide which was nicer though - the soup or the roll! Hot chocolate was hot and delicious. Staff very well presented and helpful regarding dairý free requirements. Unusually good... More

Decided to pop in for hot chocholates and we were so warmly welcomed. The chap who served us could not have done more and was very friendly and gave us lots of tips for local visits. The place has a lovely atmosphere and we hope to go back for dinner.

We went into this tea room early afternoon, mid week. Most of the 10 or so tables were occupied and it appeared that 3-4 people were serving. We sat at a table for two and waited quite awhile for someone to acknowledge our arrival and offer menus. We requested tea for two right away and would order when it was... More

The Anne of Cleves is a classic tea room with excellent displays in the window of cakes and confection. Inside think back to the 1950s with inglenook decorations and an old world charm. The menu is well balanced with good selection of teas, coffee and cakes and sandwiches. The Tea was excellent and so were the cakes...the service was a... More

A good tea shop, quite typical. Disappointed at the lack of lactose free options, esp. in a town like Totnes. Why not get a soy or almond substitute?

Popped in initially for pot of tea. Changed mind and had brunch. It was bacon scrambled eggs on muffin. It came with small salad and coleslaw. It was very tasty eggs delicious and bacon just right.
