We had an early dinner here before the Fireworks and found it to have excellent food and cooking. The service for us was also good and friendly, but there was only one person on waiting duty: she coped well with the demand but one wonders...More

We arrived for a bite to eat before going to a show as this restaurant had a relatively good reputation. Indeed, we had eaten there before and it was reasonable. We were told that the main menu was not available; only the pre-theatre menu as...More

We found this restaurant a number of years ago, when Brittany Ferries omitted to put a proper restaurant on the “Armorique”. We now eat at Chloe’s before catching the ferry, or going to the theatre. We ate there again last week. Friendly, unpretentious, but with...More

Walked in here off the street and chanced a table being available. The friendly waitress gave us a table and menus came with wooden covers. Nice Jazz music played in the background and service was quick. I ordered the vegetable cassoulet which came with hand...More

We went to Miss Saigon last night at the Theatre Royal and decided on a pre performance dinner and happened on Chloe's as it is just round the corner from the theatre and how lucky we were. They do a special three course pre theatre...More

Having visited this restaurant before on many occasions it was particularly disappointing last evening to not only receive poor service but to also come away thinking that the price of the 2 course pre Theatre meal was not good value for money. It was very...More

Went recently to see Miss Saigon at Theatre Royal and thought we would book in to Chloe's for the pre theatre deal as a special treat. We weren't disappointed. Food and staff are exceptional as always. It really is a treat and sets you on...More

I cannot believe I've not eaten here before as we go to the theatre often and the restaurant is located so close by behind the theatre car park. My daughter and I decided to try it out this week. Very pleasant interior, warm, welcoming, polite...More

Description
Superb little family run bistro/restaurant ideal for lunch, or dinner. Close to the Plymouth Theatre Royal, Pavilions and Reel Cinema and situated in the heart of the business district close the Civic Centre and just across from main Royal Parade bus stops. Extensive menu including light bites such as vegetable, French Onion and Fish Soup, Omelettes, Croque Monsieur and Fish and Chips as well as the traditional French dishes of, Beef Bourguignon, Cassoulet, Escargot and Creme Brule. Its a venue suitable for everyone at anytime and easy on the pocket too. The attention to detail and customer care and service is second to none and its been running quietly on its "word of mouth" reputation since 2005. There is even a piano on site which is played, subject to bookings, from 7.30pm each evening.
