The venue is really lovely, a bit unusual and the service was incredibly friendly. The food was very good, although I did expect just a little bit more refinement for the price.

Yes, very close. If you are staying or parking at Royal William Yard you can walk it in 5 minutes. There are a few spaces in the road just opposite if you need really close, but the walk is a nice one.
