We visit the cafe whenever we can as it's in such a lovely position overlooking Plymouth sound . The breakfasts are good and always hot and fresh and the service is fast. Rain or shine it is always a welcome stop for breakfast or lunch.

Stopped off for a coffee over Bank Holiday. Very busy but nice, quick service. Really nice coffee and great view over the Sound. Food looks substantial and good cafe fayre. Will visit again soon for a bacon and egg banjo!

On a sunny day in December we walked to this superb spot from Mount Batten. We sat outside and had a great English Breakfast each, with a tea and a black coffee. Premises very clean and bright with a superb view. Prices incredibly reasonable - they do only take CASH. Plenty of parking nearby, on the coast path, good doggy... More

Just a quick pitstop while walking our dog. Love the homemade pasties and cakes and very good value.

Lovely cafe, and with the most fantastic views imaginable . Not a bad menu and very fairly priced . Excellent service from the very polite and helpful team, but, above all , what makes this place such a pleasure to visit, is the superb proprietor, who is the most pleasant and attentive manager one could possibly wish for.

The large breakfast is excellent. Good sized portions, freshly cooked, piping hot and appetisingly served. The young staff are really friendly and helpful and we will certainly go again. ( The cakes looked good too) Our only minor criticism is that the coffee is on the weak side and could be hotter.

After walking along a stretch of the South West Coastal Path seen this little cafe. Service was very professional, I enjoyed a very nice earl grey pot of tea & a tea cake. It is a cash cafe so make sure you have cash (no debt/credit cards). Also the place is dog friendly so that's good news if your walking... More

We came for a walk along the cliffs and it was a horrid rainy windy day so popped in for lunch. Cheap and cheerful cafe that welcomes dogs (that are well behaved). Food was good. Not great but good. The grilled tomato was pretty firm and could have done with more cooking but everything else was pretty good and the... More

We come here whenever we are in Devon and the weather is good. Staying about 25 miles away, it shows how we appreciate the wonderful view across the Sound. Used to eat here but now restrict ourselves to coffee and cake as the meals are so-so. Prices are reasonable though. The location is wonderful, and well worth the visit if... More
