Booked for breakfast prior to a spot of shopping with family. Slight confusion over one of our food orders but very quickly rectified by staff. Food, service and quality for money all good. Would return.

Visited here on a Saturday morning for coffee whilst on a shopping trip and instantly thought there are better places to go in Exeter for coffee than a chain. The service was average and it took a while to get our order taken, our drinks...More

We booked the table easily over the internet. On arrival the restaurant was busy and a little chaotic on entering as about 6 people were waiting for someone to come and seat them. The restaurant has seating on the ground floor and two further floors....More

We are Cote regulars. Unfortunately our last two experiences here have not been up to their usual high standard. The problem is not the food - that's good bistro standard - and it's not the front-of-house staff, who are lovely. It's the waiting time. This...More

Popular eatery on Cathedral Green. 5 friends eating before concert. Minute Steak and chips for two of us. Steaks were tasty and tender to start but unfortunately became very stringy. Everything else was lovely and we were not charged for the steaks but the waiter...More

Late dinner after a long and stressful day. We had an amaizing medium rare steak and the wine recommended by the waitress was perfect. Very clean and tidy, nice and warm atmosphere and professional staff. Definitely go back.

Arrived on a busy evening, we’d booked for 6.45 and we were delighted to be taken to the second floor to a window table. The view of the cathedral and Christmas market was stunning. Our orders were taken promptly and all 3 courses were delicious....More

Hi there, Sorry for the late response as I've been out of circulation. There is parking in Southernhay; free after 6:00pm, and there are several car parks within 5-10 minutes walking distance.

Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities. Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly.
