Chosen as equidistant to meet up with friends and reputation encouraging.. Friendly greeting by member of staff, asked for G&T while looking at menu, unfortunately served with Fever-Tree tonic, which tastes like lemonade and has very little sparkle. The menu was surprising with limited choices...More

The food was delicious but we found the staff somewhat brusque and we felt we were being rushed at the end of the lunch, perhaps because they wanted to close for the afternoon.

A return visit to this nice pub, staffed by very efficient , friendly young people, who obviously enjoy what they do. Good beer, locally sourced produce. Cooked and presented well. Only downside is the situation. O.k, bit not idyllic. Still you can't have everything!

I would say this is more of a fine dinning experience and whilst I am sure they would cater for children eating with you it isn't really a family restaurant so to speak.
