I visited this location a few years ago and the current management have improved the venue. We were given a warm welcome by staff who were very accommodating. The room is clean and had excellent views. The breakfast was lovely and I would certainly visit again. The only negative was a soft mattress when I prefer it firmer.

You know it's going to be a good pub when you walk in the door and there are dogs sat with their families. The service was friendly, the food was lovely and surprisingly large portions. The coffee is tasty too. A great pub to visit whatever the weather. We will be back

The Port William is in an envious position on the cliffs overlooking the beach and sea. It benefits from stunning uninterrupted views,a perfect location to enjoy a drink/meal. Wonderfully appointed interior with a real sense of charm, The staff are a real credit to both the Port William and the St Austell brewery. Unfortunately the meals we had during our... More

But was pleasantly surprised it wasn't outrageously expensive for drinks. On a blustery wet windy day perfect location to watch the waves crashing, and the grey clouds rolling in. We walked from Tintagel (2 miles down the coast), but there is parking nearby.

Had a morning at the beach followed by dinner here, amazing food, dog friendly and what a view! Will highly recommend the fish pie. Also an amazing fish tank just as you walk in! There's the choice to sit inside or outside, we had to go inside because the weather turned, but not disappointed in the slightest.

The Port William Inn at Trebarwith Strand, near Tintagel, is a wonderful pub and restaurant on the North Cornwall coast, renowned for excellent pub food and a comfortable welcoming bar. There is also 4 star accommodation, with all 8 hotel rooms having a very high standard of finish and superb sea views, down to the sea and the dramatic cliffs.

Magnificently situated, The Port William Inn nestles into the cliffs overlooking the dramatic Trebarwith Strand on the North Cornwall coast. When out, the tide reveals a mile of golden sand which can be viewed from the bar, the conservatory dining area and from the inn's eight luxurious en suite hotel bedrooms. A short drive takes you to local golf courses and tennis courts while the world famous Tintagel Castle and Island are just a short walk along the coast path.
