Popped in for coffee and cake en route to the Tate. We sat for some time before the waitress told us it was counter service. Abandoned cake just ordered coffee. Coffee was ok but spoiled by ambiance, or lack of it! Bumbles is absolutely soulless...More

Ordered a cream tea. The scone was not a traditional scone. It came microwaved, spongy and wobbly. Not warm but positively steaming hot! Had to wait for it to cool down! (We were not asked if we wanted it heated. I certainly prefer my scones...More

We popped in for lunch on the way back from the Tate, it was the first place we passed that had space. The food was adequate and the service was ok. One order was wrong, but this was remedied quickly. I would go back again.

We have always been put off from trying this tea room when we are in St Ives due to all the bad reviews, but we thought we would see what it was like for ourselves. We honestly could not fault the cream tea, lovely plain...More

Staff were nice but the food was over priced eg medium Rowe pasty with salad £5.50 probably to catch the crowd going to Tate and the crab sandwich not much crab .

Went in for a cream tea, staff look very miserable and have no customer service, they had talk sport on the radio very loud right behind a man who was eating instead of some nice easy listening music, very small portion size on the jam...More

We waited 30 mins to just order then presented with something that resembled a scone. The service is so slow the place is always full and turning people away! If this place was in the back of beyond it would fail overnight

Ordered a cream tea but asked if I could swap the drink for coffee. Was charged £7.50 as they don't knock off the price of the tea they just add the price of coffee on. I wouldn't mind if the scones were nice but they'd...More
