We visited the Halsetown Inn whilst on holiday in Cornwall for lunch. We only had sandwiches but they were really nice. My husband had a Sausage and onion bap and myself and my mum had a fish finger sandwich. Our dog Jarvis was made welcome. Lovely traditional country pub with great sandwiches. Everything else on the menu looked good but... More

Had a wonderful meal here with a group of 19 ladies, we gave our orders in advance for ease and we were all very pleased with our meals. They coped with the large number of us despite most of us starting with grilled asparagus which could have been tricky. The meals were beautifully presented and very tasty, good portions and... Visited The Halsetown Inn on Friday, we decided to have the 3 course set menu, we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent, my only regret is we live in Devon & not Cornwall, this would definitely be my local. The service was faultless.

Great Sunday roast, it was a perfect size and the leek and cheese dish that came with was delicious. We will be returning! Best Sunday roast we've had in a long time.

Fantastic food and what a lovely pub. My only complaint is that I hadn't visited earlier in the week so I could squeeze in a second visit to this delightful pub before heading home. Fantastic!

very nice meal, was first put off by the outside of the pub, looked a bit shabby, but this is proof first impressions can be deceiving. The staff were very nice and found us a seat to wait for our booked table. the food was beautiful & not the usual pub grub we expected, very special, & beautifully presented. Modern... More
