A small, cosy, pretty, restaurant in a lovely location. Staff were very welcoming and nice; a little over familiar and nice, but none the less very pleasant. The food was nice but I did not feel it was in any way a showcase for Cornish fish, especially when it is yards from the small but wonderful fish market only a... More

We visited at the start of December and had a wonderful lunch here. Small plates of food which, and I know this sounds a bit naff, but really blew us away. The service was exceptional and staff provided explanations of each plate and how it was put together. We rarely eat at such nice places so it was a real... More

Outlaws fish kitchen is a small little restaurant in the heart of port issac. The concept of the restaurant is small plates, think of Spanish tapas but this time just focusing on fish. All dishes were excellent but ones to mention were the lobster on toast, the scallops and the sticky toffee pudding. I had been to this restaurant before... More

After a disappointing experience more down to the location and service at Nathan's Mariners pub in Rock, our evening at the Fish Kitchen met the expectations we had. We have the tasting menu which was beautifully presented and served. Very knowledgeable staff in a great location. There was no rush and every course was a feast. interesting flavours and textures.... More

We've been here three times now and it's been excellent every time. On each of those visits The Fish Kitchen has come up with delicious but interesting and varied fish dishes. The wine list is small but good, the setting is cosy and informal and the service good. You should go just for the halibut....

A lovely evening spent with lovely food. The menu was explained well to us and the waiter was very attentive. The food is small plates served at intervals when you are ready, stunning fish plates to choose from and all excellent and cooked to perfection with great choice of wine. The Hake dish was especially good. Desserts to die for,... More

We chanced upon this lovely restaurant and so it was all the more special after such a great evening. The food was simply stupendous, small plates, tapas like in the sense that you share them, arrived one after another. The food was light, expertly prepared from super fresh ingredients (straight from the sea). The colours and textures and taste were... More

Never really one for tapas, had a Spanish one once and spent a fortune on loads of small starters and left via Maccy D's for the main course. It was therefore with some trepidation that we went to the Fish Kitchen. BRILLIANT. Yes there were small dishes that were served when ready which resulted in a very relaxing evening. The... More
