The food and service in this restaurant was outstanding. Every single sharing plate was not only a delight to look at but a taste sensation. Nathan Outlaw is one of my favourite chefs and before we went, there was a nervousness that the food may not live up to expectations. To be honest the food and the whole experience, surpassed... Tiny perfect little fish restaurant serving varied and beautifully presented Tapas style fish dishes. Have visited on several occasions and it is always a delight! Special mention for the friendly and knowledgeable staff who are unfailingly friendly and helpful.

What a charming and friendly little restaurant this is, offering highly imaginative and delicious food. The menu is unusual - lots of little dishes to share, in combinations of 5, or 7 with a dessert. There is also a main dish of the day, but just expect to enjoy a rather different eating experience. Your waiter will explain! We were... More

Being big fans of cooking programmes on TV, we have our favourite chefs and one of them is Nathan Outlaw. We promised ourselves that we would eat in his restaurant when we moved to the West Country and three years in, we finally did it. And it didn't disappoint. Outlaws Fish Kitchen is right down in the bay and is... More

We booked a cottage in Port Issac and immediately booked a reservation at Nathan outlaw's fish kitchen. It was very pleasant but not what you would expect for £100 per couple for the special with wine on top. It was all very pleasant but nothing had the whow factor that you would expect in Cornwall for a meal of that... More

We went to the Outlaw Fish Kitchen to celebrate our son's engagement together, with his lovely fiancée and our friends. Researched thoroughly beforehand by us reading all the fabulous reviews on trip advisor we had great expectations - which if not dashed were certainly much dimmed by the reality. The food was quite tasty but not fabulous by any stretch... More

A small, cosy, pretty, restaurant in a lovely location. Staff were very welcoming and nice; a little over familiar and nice, but none the less very pleasant. The food was nice but I did not feel it was in any way a showcase for Cornish fish, especially when it is yards from the small but wonderful fish market only a... More

We visited at the start of December and had a wonderful lunch here. Small plates of food which, and I know this sounds a bit naff, but really blew us away. The service was exceptional and staff provided explanations of each plate and how it was put together. We rarely eat at such nice places so it was a real... More

Outlaws fish kitchen is a small little restaurant in the heart of port issac. The concept of the restaurant is small plates, think of Spanish tapas but this time just focusing on fish. All dishes were excellent but ones to mention were the lobster on toast, the scallops and the sticky toffee pudding. I had been to this restaurant before... More
