We tried the ship on our first night in Polperro. The food was reasonably priced and standard pub fare. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was good. Felt a bit more like a drinking pub than a food pub to me.

Fantastic little pub. The food is delicious, th only downside being the very small selection of veggie options. The bar staff are very welcoming and friendly. Always a great atmosphere.

Visited the pub for lunch on new years day - not only did lunch for three come to over £50 with no alcohol (two salads, one scallops, three soft drinks and a packet of crisps!) but we waited over an hour and a half for our food as the the order got lost. Nothing offered to compensate for our wait.... More

rather an uninspiring pub i'm afraid. have visited a couple of times and, speaking as a tourist, it's lacking something, more of a pub for locals i think, who enjoy a few drinks. dog friendly

The best place to visit in Polperro for a friendly eat and drink. The food was fantastic. The Lamb stew was superb.Downside if any was they did not have any Cornish Cider! Staff very good and a good old fashioned pub with a garden
