We went for evening food we had a lovely table round the back of the bar -very quaint pretty place with fairy lights and cosy seating. Food was marvellous and was well presented. Would definitely recommend to fellow travellers but book ahead !

called in here for lunch, as we had a dog with us we were restricted to one small part of the bar. unfortunately this was the worst part of the bar; not a very warm welcome, but everyone's different. we went elsewhere for lunch.

Had a pint of Cornwall's equivalent to Guinness... and personally I think it's better...every sip was bliss...nice seating area outside to chill out in this idyllic fishing village.

We were staying in the Hoseasons Seaview site about a mile away and ate on site the first night as it was quite late when we arrived, We had been stuck in traffic for around 6 hours and all we wanted to do was eat and sleep. Biggest mistake was eating from the on site diner! OMG what an awful... More

Visited yesterday whilst on a trip over from Padstow! We were recommended the Crumplehorn Inn by a friend who has walked the south west coastal path and we weren't let down! Proper pub food, decent price and really friendly barman. The ope n fire topped it all off!

We visited this Restaurant/Bar on our last night of our stay in Polperro. We booked, which I would advise, as we visited on 5th November and knew it would be busy after the firework display. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. The table was set in a lovely part of the restaurant area and we had a... More

Been here a lot. Lovely staff. but very mixed experiences. staple fish and chips great. Scallops lovely. Mixed grill great. needs rejuvenating as huge potential. Chef needs to not microwave the bread in the cottage loaf =virtually inedible. Chips frozen and not pleasant. Generally menu is too extensive. Makes you think frozen frozen frozen.it wouldn't take much to make this... More

Been to polperro the last 3 years, eaten here each time, good selection of food, plenty on the specials board, friendly staff, but if you want to talk football, DONT talk to the landlord, he supports Arsena😀 Best thing about the crumplehorn is the beer though, all local, usually tintagel brews on the bar All the best til next year... Very disappointed. The staff were sour and unfriendly. (We were not given any help from them when we asked their advice regarding parking - 'Well hotel clients stay here you know. You cant occupy their spaces.' - that was it.) The Fisherman's Medley individual tastes of fish were all diluted out by the horrible batter drowning them. Far too many... More

We always call into the crumplehorn after a day out for a pint of cider! it's clean, the staff are polite and there's always a nice atmosphere. On this occasion we had food which was plentifully, so much so that I could not finish mine , which is unusual and it was lovely.

Thank Jane D
