We visited the pub twice while on holiday in Cornwall. On both occasions we chose a local fish speciality listed as a daily special. The food was delicious and the staff really friendly, and we would love to visit again when next in Penance.

After a cold ferry ride from the Isles on Scilly, it was nice to go into this warm pub near the quay. The waiter was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious, especially the special grilled local mackerel which was great.

Excellent food excellent pub. Very friendly staff and very helpful nothing to much trouble. Outside seating. Although difficult to park and not very disabled friendly as there about 5 steps to enter pub. Would still recommend it. Love the place.

Popped in hoping for a table for 14 + dogs and we were pleasantly made to feel welcome which is not always the case with large parties. Good food, well delivered and decent price.
