Excellent restaurant with a good choice of dishes. Huge portions, great staff and very good value. Open 7 days even in the "off" season and only a short walk from the car park

We had looked at the food boards outside of the Golden Guinea many times on various visits to Looe, but had never been in. We decided to give it a try, and be were not disappointed! Being disabled, we're restricted where we can go, but they had suitable access (just one very small step which my husband managed to get... More

Great food and really enjoyed the surrounding. The waitress was also very nice and a great help when you couldn't decide what was the best thing to order.

Sunday night leaves few off season options in Looe and this was one of them. Food we ordered was fairly basic fair but was cooked well and served briskly and efficiently. Not a bad place to visit.

Really enjoyed our meal here and the lady who served us was very friendly. Good to have some interesting non-fishy options, which we had struggled to find during our time in Cornwall. Reasonably priced too.

Excellent breakfast for both adults and kids, good quality and generous portions. Only regret is that we didn't come here for dinner as the menu looks great

Looking for somewhere to eat on NY Day and this was one of the few places open that could accommodate the 7 of us. They opened up the side room of the restaurant to cater for us and made us feel welcome. We all ordered different meals and they were all really good. Have subsequently read a couple of mediocre... On our last evening in Looe, we walked in to town, & found the Golden Guinea, decided to eat there, & it was a good choice. The fish & chips were very nice, & the chocolate orange profiteroles were delicious. The surroundings are very oldy worldy, having been built in the 16 hundreds, but clean & welcoming.
