Went here with my partner during a weekend away in Looe and the food was absolutely gorgeous. Lovely setting, great service from the staff and very well priced for the quality of the food. Would recommend the beef stroganoff, best meal I've had in a very long time

6 of us visited the Smugglers Cott in January 2017 on a wet Saturday evening, it was fantastic to walk into a warm and atmospheric restaurant. The food was good but, to be honest, I think it could be improved. I had nachos to start and they were literally the worst thing I've tasted in Looe, a real let down... More

Had a Sunday roast here with the family it was nice but there was a few things like there was hardly any veg at the carvery so we were waiting around for more veg whilst rest of the meal getting cold. We ordered a kids ice cream and they charged us full desert price for it which we though was... More

We booked a table for 6 of us for my birthday mid December. It was our first visit to this restaurant but it certainly won't be our last. The food menu had an excellent choice of starters and mains, something to suit everyone's taste. The starters and mains were fantastic, perfectly cooked and presented. Everyone really enjoyed their food which... More

We popped in on the off chance without booking a table, me the wife and my 3 kids they promptly found us a table and we ended up having on of the best carverys of ever had. They even had lamb on menu. You don't often see that option due to the price of lamb.... Fantastic good great service we... More

Booked a birthday meal for New Years Day, the food was nice but the customer service and whole experience very poor which was such a shame and very disappointing. Despite booking 2 months in advance I can't help but feel we were allocated the worst table. It was in a direct draught of the door so whenever it was opened... More

My wife and I went for a meal on NYE and had a very pleasant meal and dining experience. Shared a nice starter of breaded mushrooms, then each had lamb and scallops for main. Nice bottle of wine to go with it and had complimentary bread to start. Service was very good and table was in a nice spot. Food... More
