They don't seat or serve children! That may be your thing... but pouring rain and no alternative for us on a Sunday and parking being an issue with three children and one dog meant we left Chester hungry! Customer reviews need to point this out!...More

By the canal this pub has a great range of beers with great service. I didn't have any food but what I saw looked great. Could do with cleaning the toilets when it gets busy

This pub has an excellent location along a canal in Chester. The bar is gleaming wood and lined with many kinds of whiskey. I am not sure if the locals appreciate all of the tourists there. It seemed to ave a large list of cocktails...More

Called for a drink as it was by the canal when we were walking by. Just a bit pricey, but most pubs are these days.Menu looked good, although we didn't eat there.Nice atmosphere , friendly staff and lovely period interior.

During our three night stay in Chester, we dined here twice. Not only are the staff friendly and helpful, the food is excellent. It is very popular and gets busy, so early dining is recommended. Good choice of ales and wines.

Great little place this, the atmosphere is lovely and relaxing, good choice of beers and lovely food also served. Added benefit is that it's alongside the canal with outside seating. A must to visit when in chester

Sorry just seen the question. Harkers would certainly fit, best to book. Not sure if they do upside down pints for the Ozzies.
