Really lovely food and gorgeous wine provided on recommendation. We had fillet steak and sea bass and they were both amazing. Accompanied with great service. It's a bit more expensive but you really do get what you pay for here. I'd say it's worth it. Only issue was we ordered by the glass and they assumed large without checking so... More

Popped in for lunch and thought the make-over was lovely. That said was unimpressed with food and service. Had mixed breads which were stale and seemed as though it had been stood around for a long time. Entirely agree with comment in review before this! £8.25 for a glass of wine is rather over the top. Will vote with our... More

Eating in this restaurant was a really lovely experience. The staff were very friendly and incredibly attentive. There was a really good atmosphere. Service was quick and the food was superb. My husband left a tip which is unheard of. Just sorry that we live so far away and can't visit again in the near future.

Visited a few days ago for a lunch time meal, a family group of four adults. The place was busy and so I assume has reasonable popularity, but there was room for ourselves and more. An inviting environment, as were the staff, smart, helpful and friendly. There was a good food menu and we were given time to select our... More

Nipped in here for an afternoon bite to eat and wasn't disappointed. We were greeted at the door and the door held open for us..(nice touch) our coats were taken (nice touch) and then shown to our table where we were immediately presented with a wine list (nice touch) The service to the table was exceptional without being over fussy... One week on from its recent refurbishment we decided to visit our 'go to' Italian restaurant in Chester. The interior is now so much more brighter and pleasant with cool blue leather seating and a reflective metallic ceiling bouncing light around the room. Service was a tad slow but it was obviously busy so perhaps understandable. We decided on a... More

We visited Piccolino on a Monday night. It wasnt empty but we were seated quickly without a reservation, and the host even moved us to a larger table so we would be more comfortable. The food was absolutely excellent, special mention to the chocolate almond tart! Mains also great, plus decent portions and a really reasonable price considering. The restaurant... More

Been waiting for piccolino's to open after a refurbishment and I wasn't disappointed. Love the new look and great idea to have a deli style kitchen so you can see the food your going to be cooked. I choice my favourites king prawns on ciabatta followed by the king prawn linguine both were excellent A must visit

The Piccolino in Chester has just had a refurb and it looks great! Its now much lighter inside and the decor typically Italian. All of the usual great service and lovely food has not changed too....
