Found this place by accident. Just happened to park outside, needed the loo and fancied a coffee. We visited it three times that day. What a wonderful little warm friendly place with a very welcoming owner. All food is home made by the owner even down to her cooking the Ham joints for the sandwiches and making the cakes on... It may be small, but that makes it friendly and personal. After walking the walls, it is just what is required! Many thanks, Ladies.

A modest cafe manages to deliver friendly service and excellent value for money. As advertised on the sandwich board, the cafe was truly welcoming to me and my cairn terriers. Make it part of your tour of Chester - you will be delighted!

After the manager kindly answered a questionnaire for my university assignment during opening hours, I felt I should give the café a try. I've been to plenty of cafes in Chester, and this is one of the best valued ones around, with a vast amount of choice, especially with hot chocolate flavours. I indulged in a steak and stilton toastie,... More

I came across this cafe when taking my dog for a walk by the River Dee in Chester yesterday. I saw the sign saying "Dogs Welcome" so went to look at the menu outside. As soon as I saw the choice of dishes we went in. It is only small, with about four tables but you felt welcome as soon... More

Visiting Chester yesterday (in April) me and some friends went to this tiny Cafe to eat for the first time proper full English breakfast - were not disappointed ! The meal was great, tasty and very fresh, the owner was amazingly nice and polite. Showing Chester to other people I would definitely bring them to Cafe again. Prices are reasonable... More

After being recommended this cafe for breakfast by a couple the previous evening in a restaurant in Chester, we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent with a extensive choice, great service and very reasonable prices. This little cafe is a hidden gem and would totally recommend it to any visitor to Chester

Myself and my beautiful girlfriend needed a warm breakfast on a bleak rain soaked February morning. After consulting TripAdvisor and reading the excellent reviews we decided to eat here. It's a tiny place that has about 4 tables. The menu is excellent, with lots of options to suit many tastes. I had a large breakfast which was both good quality... More

We needed a late lunch and after a couple of miss steps in nearby pub restaurants due to some sort of sporting event we spotted this tiny café. Its not very disabled friendly and don't even think about taking a pram inside but it loses no points from me on that score. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food... More
