Visited Chester for day trip today and went here for lunch. Great selection of sandwiches, home-made soups, paninis, jacket potatoes and salads. My vegetarian girlfriend was pleased with the menu. Portions very good sizes and tasty. Salad was massive! Offered home-made vinaigrette which was very nice. Much bigger upstairs than it looks downstairs. Very friendly staff too. Will be back... I chose Marmalade to eat breakfast as I'm a coeliac and it catered for this. Everything on the menu can be done gluten-free. The food is excellent and the selection of cakes is great, I've never been anywhere with so much choice for a coeliac! Lovely setting too. Would highly recommend, gluten-free or not it's a great cafe plus the... More

We were greeted with a warm cheerful welcome and a wide selection on the menu! The food and drinks were delicious and there was an excellent variety on offer. We had the most delicious creamy eggs with crispy bacon on a bagel and a goat's cheese, spinach and roasted red pepper panini (with a huge side salad). The food was... More

Such a lovely experience to go to a cafe which caters fantastically for coeliacs. The sandwich, jacket potato and desserts we had were delicious. The amount of cakes and desserts was mind blowing!

Tried this for brunch yesterday. Virtually everything on the menu can either be made gluten free or is gluten free. The food is excellent, and the selection of cakes are brilliant, ( especially the coffee and walnut cake). From the minute you walk in you are made to feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. They even offer you gluten... More

Had a nice lunch here but as we arrived at 12.30 a lot of the choices had already sold out. They offer good gluten free alternatives and there is quite a wide range of desserts for a change. It wasnt particularly cheap for a sandwich, staff were helpful and the atmosphere was friendly.

Stopped for tea and desserts on a cold, rainy afternoon. What a delight! They offered a wide variety of GF options. We tried three different desserts and all were delicious. The server was warm and friendly. Definitely recommend.
