Nice building. Small and it was great that it was empty about 11am on a dreary Monday. Ordered a veg breakfast. Tasty, eggs were done perfectly but was given the fat slices of bread for the toast. £6 for the breakfast which was filling and of good quality.

A humble little sandwich shop, that should have nicely impressed. The mushroom soup was very underwhelming, so much so, I was sadly not able to eat it.

We pop in here for lunch every week or so. The food is delicious, good range, especially for vegetarians, all freshly prepared. Haven't tried the soups yet, but can vouch for the very tasty sandwiches and jacket spuds. Good takeaway sandwich bar too. Friendly efficient service and a gorgeous old building right in the centre of Chester.

A really nice cafe with a good selection of sandwiches, soups, cakes etc. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable - and the building is one of the oldest in Chester.

Lovely old 17th century house, now a café. Really atmospheric. Lots of original features: beams, narrow staircases, fireplaces, and ancient pillars. Food excellent: we had all day breakfast and ploughman’s lunch.

I enjoyed lunch in here. The building is incredibly old (I think there was some claim about it being the oldest in the city?). In any case, the sandwiches are always fresh and well prepared. Good value for money as well. Only downside is that the Deli's a bit small, but that can't be helped for a period building. Give... More

As a vegetarian I am not used to having much choice when I eat out but at the Tudor House deli I was spoiled for choice. The food and drinks were lovely for meateaters and herbivores alike.

We visited here last Saturday at 12.15pm. There were 8 of us and because of it being lunchtime, we checked that we could be accommodated, as we only wanted coffee and soft drinks, not a meal. It wasn't particularly busy so they agreed to seating us. But from then on we felt unwelcome. The staff seemed stressed and unfriendly and... More

Great welcome, Julie was very helpful and patient with us, we took while to choose. Julie was happy to make up a sandwich that wasn't on the menu. Prices reasonable, premises clean and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and return again.
