We found this pub on the Doggie Pubs website. We were made to feel very welcome with our dog. The food was excellent. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the food the first time we visited, so we invited friends for a second visit whilst moored on the canal near the Cheshire Cat. It took us around ten minutes to walk. The menu is fairly typical pub fare, but service for food...More

Went here with 2 friends for an evening meal. The menu had some interesting items. I had Lamb and Chorizo Curry. This was well presented. There was good space between tables. Reasonable beer selection and good service.

I was invited by friends to join them in a wine tasting evening during a recent visit to Chester. Not only was the presenter amusing and informative about the wines he selected but the food was also excellent and the wait staff extremely pleasant.

I have visited for mid week business meeting snacks, so know the quality of the food and service - but this was first time I'd experienced Sunday Lunch. Frankly, I love home cooking and roasts best of all - usually preferring them. But I was...More
