What a glorious hotel in the heart of this ancient city. Old world charm, super efficiency, dedicated, courteous staff and the food! We had the taster menu. Every course was something new and exciting to taste. Not something you would do at home so we enjoyed the experience. The bedroom was very tasteful, all mod cons, the best shower ever... More

The atmosphere is quiet and lovely. The staff are very friendly. We tried the Tasting Menu which had 8 courses and the restaurant offered extra two courses including various bread. Every dish is delicate and tastes very nice. I really like the ones called "Cannelloni" and "Clementine". Just a small suggestion, most of the dishes were a little bit too... More

We've done this many times before but keep coming back as it's such a fantastic experience. Each course is beautifully presented and delicious. It's well worth paying for the accompanying wines to compliment the food. Each course and wine is carefully explained. There are even a wonderful selection of breads on offer but don't try too many or you'll never... More

My sister and her husband purchased my partner and I the tasting menu as a gift and we really were looking forward to our evening. I could not fault the staff serving us, who were attentive, polite and on hand as we tried to make a good choice from the wine menu. Fine dining is not something we get to... More

This was the first time that we have eaten at Simon Radley's restaurant at the Grosvenor and we all decided to have the tasting menu; it was truly outstanding. We have eaten at some of the top restaurants in London and this is one of the best meals we have ever had. The staff were absolutely fantastic and we will... More

Ate her with 3 girlfriends as our Christmas night out. The menu was outstanding. Each course unique with superb flavours and presentation. Chef uses local quality ingredients when possible. The service is impeccable, smooth polite and the staff know the menu well and are able to answer any questions we had. The star of the show was as ever the... More

The menu choices were amazing. I had the caviar with Siberian vodka, then the sirloin of beef, and finally the pineapple dessert. My husband chose the sweetbreads with langoustine as a starter which he totally enjoyed. All of the courses were delicious, and the presentation was perfect. The portion size was satisfying. The service was discreet and attentive. After a... More

Great food here and some nice options on the menu. Maybe a little too much bread but I wasnt forced to eat it! The somelier wasnt quite as good as the kitchen in our opinion as we had tasting wines.

For a 60th birthday celebration you want something memorable and for that reason we chose Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor and we weren't disappointed. I don't think we could fault the experience in any way, nothing in our opinion was amiss. The evening started with pre dinner drinks and canapés. The Sommelier was a delight to talk to and helped... Description
Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor, has held a Michelin star for nineteen years running surely a record outside of London. Under the direction of Executive Chef Simon Radley the exceptional modern British menu changes seasonally and uses only the finest ingredients. The cellar is also renowned, having one thousand bins and a sommelier of prodigious knowledge. The dining room itself is as dashing as you would expect with comfy chairs, oriental carpets, fine woods, original artwork, ebony pillars and many-layered tones of gold and taupe. The service is distinguished by its warmth and professionalism. Top marks.
