Lovely tea room to have a sit down and snack while visiting Ely. Great scones and cakes and they make a very good hot chocolate too. If you want a treat, this place will suffice.

I want to write this review not just because the food is of good quality; service is fast and polite; prices are reasonable...... but go down stairs for your table! There is an ancient crypt older than Ely Cathedral. Don’t be put off about how...More

Stopped by one wet Saturday morning for a cup of tea and scone, very nice cheese scones along with excellent service. Only thing I noticed was it seemed very ‘clicky’ I gather I’d taken a ‘regulars’ table as I over heard a comment about them...More

We visited at the end of March. There were 7 of us and were lucky enough to have downstairs opened for us. Downstairs as it turned out was a crypt and is older than the cathedral! It was so atmospheric. We all had food including...More

I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough, homemade food, excellent hospitality, unique dining environment in the crypt and an excellent programme of events! What is not to love?

I'm afraid we don't hire anyone under 16 as there's issues with being supervised with hot drinks. Hope you find something though!
