We've visited a few times now. We went for Sunday lunch but were a bit underwhelmed. We will go again but will give the roast a miss

Booked for a family meal out, eight of us. Were given a table in an alcove next to the main restaurant, quite a nice touch. Pleasant, well-decorated surroundings. Were given two menus to choose from, general and a la carte - a little confusing, given that you could pick and choose between them according to what took your fancy. But... More

The Anchor at Little Downham is a nice pub. The staff are friendly and always want to help, it's kept very clean and each time I eat there the good is of good quality. You can eat in the pub area, which is comfortable, initmate and more adult and there is a large room at the rear for larger parties.... More

Really delicious Sunday lunch. We were especially pleased with the vegetarian and gluten free options. Why can't more places do a decent meal like this! Lovely surroundings and very clean too. Would thoroughly recommend.

We have been here for Sunday lunch several times but this time it was Saturday lunch for eight of us and two dogs to celebrate our daughters birthday. We were made very welcome indeed, including the dogs. The menu was great and the service friendly and efficient. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal and it was extremely good value for money.... This is a new makeover of an old existing pub. Now a Pub/Bistro with Rooms. Very smart and well done, good place for a party as well. Good selection of beers, and wines. Nice well thought out food menu. Has a very nice restaurant area that can also be rented for functions. Good parking.

Just returned from a relaxing weekend at The Anchor in Little Downham. We had tickets for the Ely Cathedral Christmas Fair so we decided to stay overnight locally and opted for The Anchor in Little Downham just outside of Ely. There was ample off road parking in their car park which you don't always find with a rural B&B. The... More
