After visiting cathedral we ate for lunch here. Basic lunch food but pleasant and good value. Managed a sunny day so were able to sit outside and really enjoy the view.

We ate from the new summer menu: lovely and elegant dishes, which all tasted great. Friendly and attentive service. The best place to eat out in Ely.

Visited The Almonry tearooms with my Mum and my daughter on Bank Holiday Monday (1st May) based on my Mum having visited previously. We had three sandwiches, two slices of cake, and four hot drinks between us and the bill came to £37!! Incredibly expensive,...More

Wonderful location, good food and friendly servers make this a must visit when in Ely. Hot chocolate and cakes were delicious. Very reasonably priced and seating in the gardens of the cathedral, wonderfull. Don't miss it.

An ancient building, but thoroughly modern cuisine and surroundings. Unhurried attendance and very reasonable prices.

The Almonry is very popular but it's worth waiting for a table. The pleasant and fast service of a home-made style selection is suitable to all ages. Surrounded by beautiful gardens often full of flowers, season allowing the wow factors is the looming Ely Cath...More

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the Cathedral. It offers a varied menu, from sandwiches, to baked potatoes and a full lunch menu, all of which is excellent and favourably priced

Don't know. I've never eaten there on a Sunday. Sorry.
I am taking my mother for a belated Mother's Day lunch on Sunday. What are the Sunday roasts like? What's the selection of meats? Prices? Thank you
