I'm at a loss to put into words how this poor meal, and even poorer service, spoilt what should have been a great evening. The menu was limited and underwhelming and I struggled to find something I was excited to eat however the poached egg starter was a promising start for me but those that had the soup found it... We hesitated to try this place because of some very mixed reviews. Ham hock terrine was good and moules frites were good too. Frites looked more English than French but they were well made. Given the French name I expected a basket of bread on the table too, especially to dip in the moule juice. It was pretty empty when... More

The venue is lovely, as are the staff - really nice atmosphere. The food is ok, but not great, so felt overpriced. I would go for a casual lunch or supper but not a special occasion.

Place was full & food on the tables looked good. We hadn't booked and were told we'd have to wait to eat. Ten minutes into looking at the menu we order drinks, five minutes later the food order was taken. about fifteen minutes after that the food turned up. Seems good to me. Recommend the beef goulash (with chips/rice)

Been here a few times and the food is always gorgeous.... had the pollock with pak choi and cauliflower followed by a delicious creme brûlée, and some tasty cheeses too, gorgeous Stilton! Lovely, the only negatives are the table was a bit sticky and it can be cold so take a cardie... otherwise good service and yummy food!

Very poor quality food very badly cooked. Bacon was totally dried out, had the feeling of food cooked in bulk and kept warm under a light, a bit like a 70's service station. Eggs were burnt on the bottom and raw on the top. Let's not mention the ciabatta. Someone came to talk to me about it and she said... More

I went to lunch at Bordeaux Quay brasserie with a group of friends. The food was of an incredibly low standard. The cheese soufflé starter we had was flat and totally tasteless, with no evidence of any cheese flavour at all! Several of us had haddock and chips with peas, as the menu is very poor and limited. The chips... More

We had breakfast at this Harbourside cafe. A converted warehouse with all the associated post-industrial feel. A nice family atmosphere. Good menu and wide range of sandwiches. I had yogurt and granola followed by a bacon and egg ciabatta sandwich. Very nice. Service was good, location excellent.

Booked lunch for my Wife and I. We found the service to be good and the staff very friendly and accommodating. My wife enjoyed a very tasty haddock risotto after our waiter's recommendation, but I found my fish and chips adequate in size but not particularly tasty. In addition I sent my beer back as it did not taste as... More
