Food was of a very good standard and the steak was praised by my partner. However the enjoyment of the food was somewhat negated by the very slow service. It was a busy night and our table wasn't ready so we had a drink first...More

This restaurant holds high value in my family as it was the venue where my brother got married. It was a sensational day, perfectly organised and the food / drink was outstanding. However that was a good few years ago and this review is following...More

Last came here several years ago. Still a very good restaurant. Booked for late Sunday lunch. Popular with larger (6/8 people) groups. Had table for two in corner overlooking the river which suited us well. Shorter menu than other days but good choices and very...More

Great venue with river views. Ground floor area offers food and drink with first floor restaurant area. Both are very good! Includes external terrace area which is terrific in the summer!

Looking at the reviews we had high expectations but, sadly, they weren't fulfilled. We started with cocktails on the balcony, which were good with attentive service then we moved in to eat. The menu was quite 'typical' so, between the 4 of us we ordered...More

We popped in for a meal around 5.30 on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner. We sat downstairs and had a lovely view looking over the river (it was pouring down with rain). Staff were friendly and the main course was good. We were...More

We had a very nice lunch in this place and the location is very very nice. We all had an amazing beef, super tasty! On the dark side, wine selection is not very excellent and the desserts quite dry.

I would say that Severnshed next door is a better drinking place; it has a larger balcony overlooking the water so if it is a nice sunny day/evening it's lovely.

I'm sure it will be a good choice for a Saturday if there have room for a table of 10!
