Sadly this popular Argentinian steakhouse has served its last steak on July 19, 2018 -- part of a cost-cutting measure by the parent company trying to save the rest of their business (Gaucho restaurants). It's been a tough time for many restaurants -- reportedly the...More

Cant call it fine dinning, but also mot mid range. Wines are overpriced & combined with the reasonably priced steaks it does end up on the high side. Taste is good, cooking done as requested, time to prepare dishes reasonable. Service attitude could be a...More

Excellent dinner. Even though the restaurant was very busy when we arrived our meals were cooked to perfection. Very attentive service and friendly staff. Well done CAU, we will be back soon.

Visited this 'lively and rather noisy restaurant while visiting friends in Bristol. Fabulous steak medallions with amazing 'gluten free ' chunky chips. Waiter was very good and understood about being Coeliac and needing to be Gluten Free. Well done. A very busy place with a...More

Returned to The CAU Argentinian Steak restaurant located off the Clifton Triangle. This was our 5th visit and because we love the steaks so much we brought friends for a highly anticipated meal. What a terrible disappointment, I am unsure if this restaurant or the...More

Moden feel to the place, quick turnround of tables. Adequate size of reasonably tastey portions. Fair price for city centre sit down food.

Family dinner, and we all love meat and wine, The dishes were great, the meats cooked to preference and indeed they melt in your mouth. The Piche red wine - which we chose after being given the opportunity to taste some others as well -...More

We were a table of about 16 and being treated for a meal here by our work bosses. Very light and airy and nice that you can see the kitchen area. Bit of a trek to the toilets as they are up 3 flights of...More

Perhaps an odd way to start but what I love about Cau is how open the space is. That isn’t to say tables aren’t close but I like that it doesn’t feel cramped. Next, the staff are friendly and efficient. Any food I’ve had there...More

You’ll find us on the Clifton Triangle at the top of Park Street. With floor-to-ceiling windows stretching the entire width of the restaurant, you can tuck in and take in the sights or watch our master grillers whip up a storm with 360º views of the open kitchen.
