Tried our luck as a walk in on a Saturday evening as I'd eaten here before while on a work trip to Bristol a few years ago and enjoyed it. Got a table for two no problem but it did look busy so next time...More

Visited here with my girlfriend on July 10th. We both had their homemade cheeseburgers which were superb, together with their amazing chunky chips, plus onion rings and coleslaw. Paulina served us, a very friendly, bubbly waitress who provided great service. This was our first visit...More

I was brought here on a date. We were seated promptly. Drinks and food prices are reasonable for this type of restaurant. There are probably cheaper but wouldn't be as nice. I had one of the larger rump steaks. It was cooked perfect and presented...More

Went with 8 friends. Due to the lovely weather we asked if our table could be outside, they moved us with minimal fuss quickly. The service was good throughout and we did not have to wait long for our food to arrive. The food itself...More

Waited an hour for a steak and side salad. Oversized wedge chips undercooked and greasy, undersized (but well cooked) steak. No reasons or apologies for delay and no interest in whether of not I enjoyed my meal. I didn't. And I won't be returning.

I was interested to see how this would go due to mixed reviews. We ate on a Saturday at 1 o clock. It wasn’t too busy. I did find the service a little slow, it took a while to get our drinks and each course...More

Went here the other day for a catch up with a friend and this was certainly one to miss in future. Made a reservation which stated we must vacate our table by 20:30 for a 19:00 booking. That is fine but we were planning on...More

Last week I went with friends for a Sunday Roast. We ordered two roast chicken, one pork belly and one steak. Simple. Only the two chicken arrived together. My friend received her dish wrong twice and I received my steak after one mistake as well....More

What a find this restaurant was! We were wandering, looking for a relatively quiet spot for a meal, where we could catch up without shouting at each other. The decor was really quirky, and we were seated in a booth which was decorated with a...More

Description
We think our story is worth telling, because it shows just how much care we've taken in creating this amazing venue. Sourcing the very best ingredients has been a real labour of love. We've met some amazing people and sampled some of the very best produce in the West Country. Here's the story of the food we cook for you: OUR BEEF For great tasting beef we need to source the best ingredients. We have searched far and wide for our beef and we believe some of the best comes from farms in Devon and Cornwall and on the Welsh Borders. From the minute we set foot on the farm we have chosen we knew these guys were right for us. Warson Beef Farm's approach to farming mirrors our approach to food - pouring the same passion and attention to detail in to everything from the welfare of the animals to the maintenance of their buildings and farmland.
