There's just no comparison, small street is the best place to have coffee. The baristas are just amazing, friendly and have a genuine passion for what they do.

I have worked in the coffee industry for the past 7 years, so I am very picky. Small St Espresso is definitely the place to go in Bristol for great coffee. The halloumi toastie is also a delight (as is the toasted banana loaf while I'm at it). I cannot fault anything at all - great coffee, great food and... More

My friend and I visited here today and it was a fantastic discovery. The people who work here are super friendly and the coffee is great - my main criteria for what makes a cafe good. It's quite small (and appropriately on Small Street) which adds to the character. I'll definitely be visiting again very soon.

One of my favourite cafes in town....seriously good coffee, yummy sourdough toast and jam, delicious cakes, friendly welcoming staff too. A small but charming sitting area...love popping in if I'm in town!

I'm a NZer, home of the flat white and it's great to find places in Britain serving a great flat white ( there are not many !) It was so perfect it made me homesick. The staff are friendly and passionate about their coffee and grab one of their lovely friands.
