The woman was very welcoming into the shop. She gave me her recommendation on the blend. The actual shop itself is of course 'small' but really nice decor. Even though it was busy at lunchtime, service was quick.

The coffee is always top-notch, served by friendly and extremely knowledgeable baristas who are more than happy to pass on tips and tricks to those interested. A regularly rotating option of guest espresso keeps things interesting, and there's also a good selection of teas and...More

If you want to be comfortable while you eat or drink this is not the place to go - it's fairly cramped with very basic hard wooden seating. It is also not very large and quickly gets full. But the menu, both for food and...More

Once or twice I’d walked past and the place was closed (probably late in the afternoon to my fault) but I did eventually get in a visit and tried an espresso - well done! Great service also, keep up the good work I’m a sucker...More

This is a small and very cozy coffee place. The service is excellent, and they have nice little cakes and sandwiches also. It’s possibly the best coffee it town, or certainly among the top 5.

A good focus on coffee and delivers expectations. Cake is not homemade or sold at another coffee shop in Bristol and recognisable that well. Wifi if you want it. Otherwise no unnecessary frills and a lovely quiet stop.

Lovely coffee and toasties, well priced and very friendly staff. Although seating and space is a little tight, it's perfectly cosy and you're made to feel welcome and not rushed at all. Would certainly go again.

Generally I go here on my own. Not because I’m an angry loner but mostly so I can enjoy the outstanding coffee and both watch people come and go as well as the highly skilled and passionate people who work here make their coffee. It’s...More

We are an independent espresso bar in the heart of Bristol offering fantastic coffee, whole leaf tea, handmade cakes and cold drinks. In the mornings we also have fresh pastries from Hart's Bakery and for lunch we have a small range of sourdough toasties. Everything is available to enjoy in or to take away.We specialise in coffee, and at any one time have a house and guest espresso, decaf, and also single origin beans for filter coffee. All our coffees are also available ground or whole bean for you to enjoy at home.
