Enjoyed our family gathering here on Saturday, but that's because we were together! I've never been anywhere where a request for ice is charged! £3 a glass of ice? The food was fair only, I enjoyed my ham hock starter but my son-in-law didn't enjoy his crab. The pork belly was extremely fatty (almost liquid fat) so disappointing as I... More

Been meaning to put a review up for a while now, it's been over 2 months since we went to this restaurant on the 15th of Feb 2017. The service was shocking even when I booked well in advance, the food was very over priced and wasn't good, the wine wasn't fairly priced either and tasted like vinegar. So many... More

Me and my partner decided to take a trip down to the glass boat for lunch as we fancied something special. We were not disappointed when we were welcomed by the friendly and professional waiter that went by the name of Tomaso. All of the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was just what we were looking for,... More

I came with my girlfriend in a Saturday night, was busy but we were looked after very well by our Waiter Sam and we have been seated by a really enthusiastic waitress called Martha, the food was excellent, the best cote de boeuf I've ever had. Really good selection of French wines but especially really good Pinot noir. Per sure... More

We came here for breakfast at my friends hen party. It was a lovely breakfast with a stunning view. Service was nice, not too pushy and pretty quick to get food and drinks out! They made the reservation very easy. Would return again!

We were last here 6 months ago and my previous review of this restaurant still stands (wow wow wow!) Again the chateaubriand was outstanding, lovely staff and ambiance fantastic, especially for a lunchtime. Yes it's expensive, but for us it's worth every penny.

Absolutely no complaints about the food which was outstanding but the service was just atrocious. We were ignored for nearly half an hour after being seated and then both our starters and mains took an age to arrive, one of our starters was even forgotten and took at least another ten minutes to arrive after the others. There seemed to... More

The boat is lovely and the restaurant well-appointed. Staff began friendly and deteriorated to snooty and slow as more staff arrived. Octopus aspic ok and avocado appetizer needed seasoning. French onion soup was vinegary and served deconstructed w some cheese melted on 2 crustini. Seafood soup was PUREED and indistinct - did not even taste like tomato, which was the... More
