Grain Barge is a delightful location to waste an afternoon drinking ale. The open top and enclosed areas give you the option on either enjoying the occasional British sun or a pleasant meal inside. The barge also offers a rentable space for parties. A welcome change for the usual normal of the standard boozer. I must admit I've not tried... More

I love this place. Great beer from the Bristol Beer Factory and other Brewers. Had lunch today. There were 7 of us and we all enjoyed what we had I.e. Fish Pies, Burgers, Steak Sandwich and Goats Cheese Salad. We all enjoyed what we had. Their 12 Apostles is a particularly tasty beer. Very friendly staff and good service.

This old barge is quite popular with some, if you want a quiet place to drink.it is best avoided. Tables sticky with beer empty glasses and a General couldn't care less attitude from the st staff makes it a place best avoided.

Visited with family and friends on a lovely sunny day. On arrival we did get the impression from some of the other visitors that kids weren't welcome. But that didn't deter us. We found a spot on the side of the boat over looking the river and made the most of the scenery and the weather. Great choice of drinks... More

We ate here on Sunday evening. I still don't like the range of beers but the food is better than last time we visited. We both had burgers - lots of cheese, good relish, nice coleslaw. The chips were very tasty with nice garlic mayo and good spicy ketchup. The burgers were big and well cooked, OH really enjoyed his... More

Nice walk out along the riverside. The food is nicely varied with specials each day, if you order a pie expect to have more food than you can eat. Nice range of beers as well.

The Grain Barge is a well preserved old barge offering a fantastic location on the river/docks. The food and drinks are very good - particularly the Porter Ales! Service is very good too.

Excellent food with plenty of vegetarian options, and a lovely view of the harbourside. They also offer a good selection of beer and cider. The butternut squash pie is divine

Three of us ate here last night and thought the food was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the Caerphilly and Leek Tart and the Chestnut and Spinach Wellington. The Chocolate tart for dessert was also super smooth and delicious. Will definitely return.
