Very disappointed to find out that the menu now only consists of pies or panninis, so left without eating. It used to be a lovely place for lunch, but not any longer.

This place has been beautifully renovated...lots of cosy sofas and spots in the windows. It looked (and smelt) very festive thanks to the fairy lights and cauldron of mulled wine! Very friendly staff and lovely G&Ts! Would definitely go back.
I reported earlier that I thought this bar had closed but it seems to have had a facelift with wall boarding that at a quick passing look makes it appear to be boarded up! But it's still open and serving good food and ales.
