Stopped off here for lunch after visiting the market. A gorgeous atmospheric building with loads of history. Had Mexican chicken and Tandoori chicken wraps - both of us thought they were excellent, packed full of juicy chicken and spices. Very good value too! Girls were...More

The staff could not be more accommodating to us. We had a few requests about our food and they happily obliged. Humorous and friendly staff. Lovely food too. Will definitely be coming again and be recommending it to friends.

We called in here today after walking past many, many times. The menu had some nice options, different from standard chain store menus. The hot apple and ginger was particularly welcome on a cold and dismal summers day! We sat outside which was both lovely...More

... is in need of a thorough cleaning. Not that it's dirty, but it's definitely not spic and span, Contrary to other old cafés in Britain, this one unfortunately doesn't show much of its age. The place feels old, not ancient. There's a difference. It...More

Hi Imforestgirl, Rather confused by your review. 'In need of clean, but not dirty'. A little perplexing! Similarly confused that you found that we don't show much of our age...I would have thought our Georgian facade and sash windows may have been a good starting...More

We had two coffees on a pit stop when visiting Bristol. Coffee was nice and the place itself seemed charming. The staff were bundled out the back and we didn't have much interaction with them but didn't really need too.

Hi Helen Thanks for your review. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Not sure where the staff were 'bundled' as we don't have much of a back room...but i'm sure you'll see us more on your next visit. Best wishes Mark
