A tea room full of character with delicious scones . Host goes out of the way to make you feel welcome. Nice to come across a tea room where well behaved dogs are also welcome. A proper tea room in a beautiful location

We had a delicious meal in this charming little restaurant in Worth Matravers. The atmosphere is warm and cozy the staff friendly, and efficient. The menu was good, not too large and appeared to be mostly local fresh ingredients. We will return.

This tea room and restaurant is a wonderful place. Lovely decor and ambience and the food is simply divine. The couple who run it are all about quality and local produce and this comes through in all the food. Everything from the quirky vintage plates to the delicious baileys panacotta pudding was superb and I am looking forward to my... More

What a treat to find an individual establishment that is clearly set up for the enjoyment of the owners and the guests. Everything from the decor to the menu is individual and the eclectic selection of royal mugs did not happen by accident. The food, coffee, cakes are all excellent and show real passion. Fortunatly we only went there on... More

I now know how lucky we were to arrive without a reservation and get a table for 4! We had the baked goats cheese with squash salad, which was absolutely delicious, and the venison sausages with bubble and squeak. Both dishes were clearly prepared with great care and sense of flavours, like a dinner party just for you! We are... More

We were incredibly lucky to have this gem next to the place where we were staying. On the basis of a great French Onion soup at lunchtime, we booked for dinner and returned the next day for cream tea. Service was the best. Loved all the crockery and furniture. Unbelievable.

I love this place and if I had to eat my last meal, this is where it would be. Locally sourced ingredients; each menu is delicately prepared with every nuance of flavour extracted. I have enjoyed crab served with coastal cheddar in a scallop shell, local plaice pan fried with wild garlic butter and crushed potatoes, delectable vegetables, heavenly desserts,... More

The Tea and Supper room only does a roast lunch in the winter. Summer lunches are great too... but if you go out for lunch on a Sunday, I think only a roast will do. With four friends just as the Sunday roast reappears, we all chose the roast from the delightfully straightforward and quite short menu featuring locally sourced... More

Delightful venue with a 1950s feel, for lunch or just a lovely cup of tea served in a china cup and saucer with a slice of homemade cake. The service was extremely friendly with delicious food from a varied menu.
