Table for six. Very friendly service. One of our group was GF and this was no problem. Cook came out to discus what could be provided. Overall very good value

This is well worth a visit in out of the way Wetton, but easily accessible from the Manifold Valley. Laid back, friendly & has a instantly at home feel to it. We did'nt feel starving so just had the whitebait & a portion of chips,...More

Highly recommend a stop off at this charming pub in a beautiful part of the peak. Particularly beautiful this time of the year with the hedgerows in full bloom. Friendly staff and good pub grub (particularly the beef and ale casserole). Great beers and atmosphere....More

Warm, cosy and welcoming. Friendly staff, good beer and dog friendly. Is likely to become a regular stop on our walks. Good selection of food on the menu and portion sizes looked good.

Friendly landlord but food has not improved over the last years. Good for a drink after a walk or evening stroll.

We are a group of 12 with possibly 2 dogs staying in Alstonefield over Whit weekend. Can you accommodate us for evening meal on either Sat 27th or Sun 28th May from 7.00pm please? Where can I access your menu on the website? I do not eat meat & want to know your veggie options. I did bring a group of 20 to your pub some 12 years ago but it was under different management then. Can't remember if there was adequate car parking, please advise. Thanks Sonja Walsh
