If you are looking for a big breakfast to start your day then the Coleminers Cafe is the place to stop. Piping hot, and large portions are great. Pricing is also very reasonable. Family friendly atmosphere.

I have been here a couple of times in the past year and I DO find the food to be good and prices reasonable. The interior of the restaurant really needs some attention though. The toilet in washroom was practically falling over, the floors and walls are looking pretty beaten & battered. Some TLC are in order!

We dined here twice during our stay in Inverness, and both times had the pleasure of being served by Pam. Engaging, interesting and efficient, she complemented the hearty pub fare that we enjoyed. Portions were generous. A small salad could have fed three, and the triple layer club sandwich with its accompanying mountain of hot, crisp fries required a doggy... More

We went there midweek for an early am breakfast . Basic choices done well with substantial portions at a very reasonable price . Friendly folks serving and , of course , friendly locals having their daily discussions nearby . Eggs , French toast and yummy potatoes all done just fine and the prices are hard to beat . Lots of... The Coal Miner Cafe has a very pleasant ambience with a combination of Boston sports teams memorabilia and a series of coal mining silhouettes that ring the upper part of the walls. Service is friendly as are the locals. Prices are very reasonable. The breakfast quesadilla is good and filling as is the breakfast sandwich. Only drawback is the fact... More

Stopped in after a round of golf at Cabot Cliffs. The waitress was a nice local gal who enjoys cooking herself with her homemade world famous meatballs. The soup there was very hearty and tasty. Also the chicken wrap was tasty also. I will go in for a bite again the next time I'm in Inverness.

Our second year going there for breakfast while staying at Cabot Links. It's a 10 minute walk down the road where you eat with the locals. Good old fashion breakfasts that come out hot and cooked the way you order it. Pancakes and French toast are excellent and so is the coal miners big breakfast. Enjoy!

Good fries but the lobster roll has too much bread. Friendly service. Check hours because something I checked showed it was closed for dinner but it was not...maybe their TripAdvisor page was wrong or needed to updated.
