Great place for lunch or to grab a coffee and kill time while waiting for the ferry. Food takes some time so don't order a full meal unless you have a good amount of time before your ferry arrives.

While out shopping on Bowen a local recommended we visit snug cafe. We arrived to a full room of what looked mostly like locals. We weren't disappointed. The pulled pork with chorizo and bean soup on a damp spring day hit the spot. Great down home atmosphere with some awesome comfort food. A must visit while on Bowen Island.

The Snug is well-named; everything about the space makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Very few places seem to appeal to both locals and tourists alike but The Snug is definitely one of them. The food is excellent, the beverages delicious, and the staff friendly. They make the best London Fogs in the lower mainland - ok, so I haven't... More

The venue is cozy and in a convenient location nest to the pier. I had a lovely cup of London Fog which was delicious.

Enjoyed a beef stew from the specials board! Good mocha with cream too. Very small with simple decor but delicious homemade food. Worth a visit for lunch!

I regularly eat at The Snug for Sunday brunch with my family, and have taken my students for a meal, and friends for a chat over coffee. It is always a warm, inviting atmosphere with quiet music in the background so though it is small, it offers a private place to eat well and meet friends, associates and family.

We had a truly wonderful breakfast at The Snug Cafe. We had also enjoyed their homemade croissants earlier and enjoyed excellent lattes. Couldn't fault our meals of eggs, bagels, ham, cheese. Outstanding.. Would definitely go back.

I had a lovely lunch here with my son. The food was very good. We both had toasted sandwiches the were delectable. The atmosphere is very homey here and the service is very good. The people doing the cooking work very hard to do a good job and also to keep up the the endless line of patrons.

Cant find any other word to describe this place. Very homy or perhaps just comfortable for a meal. Great traditional breakfast and well worth the time to visit the place. Not cheap but worth every penny.
