Have been a regular visitor for a number of years- had a fabulous meal New Year and enjoyed the very best fireworks ever on the quay. Great food - lots of choice and a range of prices. This is an easy pub - not posh...More

Booked a table for the four of us and had an absolutely wonderful meal. We had a prawn linguini with olives, cherry tomatoes and a side of salt and pepper squid. Our son had a sirloin steak cooked to perfection whilst his girlfriend had scampi...More

The small (it wasn't that small) little cauldron of local mussels with samphire, white wine, cream and fennel (I think fennel) for £7.50 was absolutely delicious. Sensational. They normally have cherry tomatoes in as well, but I don't like them, so they kept them out...More

Only stopped for a drink, but loved the atmosphere, beautiful open fire. Fully booked for food, it smelled, looked and sounded amazing. Will return.

How nice to find a proper (genuine) pub which hasn't been sanitised or turned trendy. With a nice real fire and the option to sit at the bar or at the numerous tables it all has a very homely feeling to it. With a good...More

Found the barman very rude and unwelcoming, such a shame not at all typical of Cornish hospitality or of Polruan. Food was overall good. The ladies toilets also in need of attention, no lock on the toilet door.

Booked a table in advance and were concerned about the previous review......but feel it was harsh and unfair as a pleasant welcome. Food is standard pub grub and plenty of it and it was good, if maybe a tad expensive but they have to make...More

Hello there, there is parking on the Quay outside the pub, you just pay at the post office, but there are steps up to the pub, unfortunately we are not wheelchair friendly but we are happy to assist. Hope this helps.
