At 8 pm we jumped into this restaurant after that all others in Fort Mac Leod were already closed. The owner told us that he could prepare for us just food to take away because it was too late, so I told him that in Italy we start eating after 8.00 p.m. . Taken from its pride he said us... More

Pleasant, great booths, excellent hot pot, extremely fast service, open and cosy on a snowy New Year's Day! Certified chef has served visiting stars like randy Bachman,Judy Collins and Michelle Wright. We'll be back.

Great service, great food. Nice people. Fresh, not greasy. Nice ambience. This restaurant is part of local culture... prices very reasonable. We arrived a bit late and although we feared extending their evening hours, we were made to feel welcome and relaxed.

We went into this restaurant around 1:40 just after the noon rush and before dinner so it was empty - not usually a good sing. Were we surprised! We had the A and B dinners for 1. Best egg rolls I have ever eaten! Each dish on the plate tasted different from the next. Well cooked and served hot with... More

We went as a family of four for dinner on a weeknight, and had a great meal. It took more than 1/2 hour for our food to arrive, and only one person was covering the entire restaurant by herself, serving all the tables. Johnny's had a wide ranging menu, with lots of choices.

We stopped for a quick lunch on a recent camping trip to Fort MacLeod. The owners were very friendly and the food was tasty! You could tell it was made to order and the chef put some thought into it!

Have long been a fan of this restaurant as a local. Well done Szechuan noodles. Western dishes are good as well. Johnny and wife May are friendly. Good food and service.

My husband and I just love coming to Johnny's restaurant in Fort MacLeod, AB. It was quite by accident that we decided to try this little café one evening. I decided upon the wor won ton soup and my husband was pleased to see hamburger steak on the menu as he tells me he is hard pressed to even find... More

Stopping here at Fort Mc cloud is is a real interesting find. Food is great and the owner is a great person to chat with about the history. Parking is out side the door. For those with adventure here is a place to start.

We drove a little out of our way to have lunch here, and we're glad we did. Tasty, well-prepared sandwiches (egg salad, Reubin). The town, too, is of historical interest, and we were sorry we came on a Sunday when most places were closed.

Thank RuNanS
