The food and service were good. The facility and their breakfast menu are simple & basic, nothing fancy. Ample portions with reasonable pricing.

We stopped in for lunch a couple of weeks ago. We both had soup - the clam chowder had plenty of clams, the other was beef barley (if I remember correctly) - it was real tasty. Had fish 'n chips (fish was good, not greasy, not dried out). We'd eat here again.

This is a very basic restaurant that offers very good food served by a cheerful and efficient staff. We have always enjoyed breakfast at this place but recently enjoyed a delicious lunch which included home made pie. The place is always packed and in fact the last visit we saw a table 'Reserved' for lunch. Not quiet but that isn't... More

Open for breakfast and lunch. Friday is all you can eat fish and chips and open to 8.00 p.m. that day. Reasonablely priced, good size portions. Friendly staff.

A good little spot for standard fare breakfast. Friendly, fast service. Enjoyed my breakfast sandwich with hash browns (the shredded kind I like), and the dh' s special from the whiteboard was good. Skillets available but we didn't try these.

Good food and service, but kind of noisy. One of the better places in town for breakfast. Very clean place with friendly staff.

If you like greasy truck stop style of seating and food then by all means eat here and this place is not cheap either ..I cant stand restaurants that use cheap quality food and sell it for dollars more ..the place was full which looked like a good sign but I had a bad feeling ..there was nothing I could... Had the fish & chips. Soggy chips that tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a decade. Cut in to my fish and grease squirted across the plate. Way more batter than fish.

Seems to be the local hangout and for a good reason. The cafe is small but the food is well prepared and the portions are plentiful. Would suggest breakfast...delicious.
