We've had take out a few times from Mai Mai's Bistro. The food was good, but average. The wait time was quite lengthy.

My husband and I shared the chicken pad Thai add the Cali roll lunch special with Miso soup and Tempura veggies. Both were delicious and well presented. The waitress although new was very sweet and was attentive to our needs. Would go back again for sure!

Nice little place, very accommodating, Kid friendly (and apparently dog friendly on the patio). Service was really friendly, The sushi was great, and I thought great value. Kind of an eclectic little place.

I live in Victoria and I travel to Sooke for the Fusion Sushi at Mai Mai's. It's the freshest, biggest ingredient stuffed Sushi. Staff very friendly. You will not be disappointed. It's worth the drive to Sooke for the best Sushi ever!!! Try the Mai Mai roll, to die for.....

We stopped in here for a late lunch/early supper, and were very pleasantly surprised at the variety on the menu. The wonton poppers were fabulous, and the baked oysters were excellent. The Sakura salad was very nice, and the goat cheese cheesecake was amazing. We will be coming back here to try sushi!

We arrived close to closing. Wait staff were welcoming attentive, then went off shift and we were served by owner. Extremely friendly. Great menu, nice variety and delicious Japanese fusion food. Other choices available. Nice wine selection, some local beers. Fantastic dessert....

The CaliCrunch is my favorite sushi of anything available in Victoria. The service is awesome and great prices. Parking in the back.

When we arrived at Mai Mai's Bistro, we were expecting straight up sushi and so were surprised at the varied menu. But it turns out that it was very welcome as my kids aren't huge sushi fans and were thrilled there was a kids menu option of chicken strips and fries (or fish and chips). I tried the Mai Mai... Buy one appetizer get one half off! And the portions sizes were such that we only needed one each as a mid-day snack. Had the ginger beef and the chicken skewers, the bill came to $11
