While in Saint Andrews, we walked to the Niger Reef Tea House for dinner. When we arrived, the place was empty. One couple were seated outside at a table. The nasty woman greeter asked if we had a reservation. I said that we didn't and she said they were completely booked and we wouldn't be able to dine there at... More

My husband and I had the steak, potatoes, veggies. We enjoyed our meal. The steak was served with a delicious sauce.

Niger Reef: Excellent food and cute place. You can sit right there on the deck with excellent view of the water. Lamb Burger, Lobster Roll, Soups: All awesome. Overall really cute place: Definitely recommend!

We were able to eat on the deck on a warm October night. The restaurant was recommended by our B7B hosts. we almost missed it - it is at the end of the business district and fronts a pretty park by the sea.

We ate dinner here and it was fabulous. My husband had a cup of seafood chowder which was hot and tasty. I started with a mixed green salad with a superb poppy seed dressing. I ordered the grilled cedar plank salmon. It was served with steamed fresh local veggies. My husband had the grilled beef tenderloin which was tender and... More

Good - location, salad, blueberry dessert Mediocre - wonton in tomato bisque, service Poor - selection of beer, sauce used with salmon, strawberry rhubarb crumble, prices. Will be sampling other locations.

My food was delicious and even though the staff was short handed the service was spot on. Location was spectacular with views of the ocean . Only problem was they didn't take my particular credit card and dollar exchange was on par.

Made reservations on a trip advisor recommendation, and wasn't disappointed. Small menu, but what they offer is really good. We has the seafood chowder for a starter, baked haddock and the lamb for mains and for dessert the chocolate flourless cake and the carrot cake. The house wine paired well with our meal. Service was friendly and attentive. The sunset... More

We came across Niger Reef on a walk this afternoon. We stopped to review the menu and decided to make a reservation. The owner advised us to reserve an earlier time so we could enjoy the sunset and we did - what a great piece of advice. The meal was very good, all sourced locally and made on site. I... More
