Have been to Stonewaters many times. Food is usually pretty good but not so much the service. What made my decision NEVER to return was an incident last summer when I went there with friends. I arrived early to make sure we had a table and seating for everyone. As there was not a table big enough, I joined 2... More

I met a work friend here for coffee, but ended up having lunch as well. We started with the Honeyed Brie and Bread to start - omg - fabulous! You need more bread than what they give you - it is a lot of food. the we eventually ordered the walnut and maple salad to finish, and very delish. Very... More

Awesome little spot within view of the water. Stonewater=corner of Stone and Water Street. Extremely fair prices, food was some of the best I have had, atmosphere was awesome...ate in downstairs area with original stone walls, wood..etc. Many meals can be made gluten free - we liked it so much at lunch we brought friends back for dinner including a... Meal was okay but not worth the dollar value.Restaurant need to invest in new seating. The seats are most uncomfortable and if you sit upstairs you freeze to death.

Excellent food and service in an old home retrofitted to a restaurant with meandering dining rooms. Small bar not intended to attract traffic. Very much a dining establishment.

Here for a retirement party last week. We had a lovely room upstairs with a fireplace. The staff were great. Booze was cold. Food options were a nice mix of irish grub. Salads were very flavorful but the maple chicken, burgers and the shepherds pie all looked amazing.

We stopped in for lunch based on trip advisor reviews, we were passing through town. Server was friendly and pleasant, inside decor is cosy and old pub style which was perfect for a blustery snowy day. Two for one Caesars when we went were really good. Baked Brie with honey was a solid warmer and the two for one fish... More

Went with family for drinks and open mic night. We enjoyed ourselves. We just went for drinks. The entertainment was very good. And the service was impeccable. Will definitely be back soon.

My wife and I had been eager to try this place because the menu looked so good and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, fire place, vintage pub decor. Our server was very friendly/genuine. She helped us decide between all the great choices. Great beer on tap and the food was outstanding. I had the fish and chips and my... More

There is no doubt in our minds that this is the best pub in Gananoque. That being said, that doesn't mean it is all that great. We have been here numerous times, mostly because we refuse to go to the pub across the street. We find it to be a hit or miss. I had the bacon burger last time... More
